Europe 2010

Jeffy and I made our long-planned journey to Europe this past summer. We have been saving for a VERY long time and FINALLY got to go! We started our journey in SLC where we caught a flight to Paris. There we met with our friends BriAnn and Derek to share an adventure of a lifetime! You can see most of the pictures on my facebook page, but here are a few fun ones.

Greece!!!

Greece was probably the most incredible place that I was able to visit, and most likely the place that I was least interested in at the beginning of our tour. I guess it was the history that captivated me. I think it is safe to say that we in the USA do not truly understand or fully appreciate "HISTORY" until you have been somewhere that has relics of thousands of years ago...it was simply IMPRESSIVE. There are so many pictures of this place that I had to choose....so here they are:
Poros (On our Grecian Cruise)

Swimming in the Mediterranean!

In Athens the streets are marble!

Famous Amphitheater..still used for concerts today (Sting)

View of the Parthenon at night from our roof.

The Parthenon from the roof garden of our hotel.

The Olympic Stadium in Athens

The View off of Mars Hill where Paul preached to the Athenians. (bible Ref)

The Parthenon itself!! It was so windy that we almost blew off the hilltop.

Yay for the Parthenon!
Seriously! This was the most incredible stop on our journey! I loved the people, the market (Plaka), the food, the heat, the atmosphere, the water! It was so AMAZING!
